If Alex Melton isn’t a name you’ve heard of then there is a huge gap missing in your life. Through his YouTube channel, Alex show’s an amazing talent, whether it’s Pop Punk covers of Pop songs (including a recent Bieber cover), Country covers of rock and metal (including a recent Fall Out Boy cover), Blink-182 style covers and some of his own original tracks mixed in.

I first found Alex Melton when a tiktok clip floated around which featured his country cover of the Panic at the Disco track ‘I Write Sins Not Tragedies’ humorously titled ‘I Write Sins Not Tractors (Panic! At The Square Dance)‘. I found myself going down a rabbit hole of Alex Melton covers, through a country version of ‘Duality’ (Slipknot) to a Blink-182 style cover of ‘Semi Charmed Life’ (Third Eye Blind).

The latest release by Alex Melton was teased on Tuesday through his Facebook page, where he posted “New “If Blink-182 Wrote” cover this Thursday! You’ll never guess what song I chose! Hahahahahaaaaa maniacal laugh”. Fans were then left eagerly anticipating the release on Thursday where Alex revealed a cover of Don’t Stop Believin’ (Journey).
